One-Pocket
The object of the game is to score points by pocketing balls into specific pockets.
A point is made when a player makes any object ball into the pocket where the first ball was pocketed.
The winner is the first to score 8 points.
One-pocket is similar to the game of straight pool in that both games allow players to score points for pocketing balls, each legally pocketed ball earns the shooter another shot, and any object ball is a legal ball to shoot at.
Any ball pocketed on a foul is spotted.
If the cue ball is scratched, it is a foul, and the cue ball must be spotted. Any balls that were sunk on that shot are spotted as well.
